Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, performing account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. You will also assist in budget preparation and financial planning processes. Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and statements.
• Perform regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures, and investments.
• Forecast revenue and analyse profit margins.
• Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all local, state, and federal tax returns.
• Work closely with team members to achieve financial objectives.
• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions).
• Proficient use of QuickBooks for various accounting functions.
• Assist in the financial planning and budgeting processes.
• Comply with all financial regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Certified Accountant is preferred
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft or Google Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and legislation.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English.
